This week’s White Lily bride swept us off our feet with her stunning images from Kooroomba Lavender Farm. Amy and Tyson’s love was celebrated in the most spectacular setting – surrounded by lilac fields of lavender and breathtaking mountain views. Captured during a heavenly sunset, our White Lily couple’s big day was everything Amy could have dreamt of.
How it all began
Who knew that a ‘car accident’ could lead to something so magical?“I was 16 and ty was 17. I was learning to drive and accidentally drove over his foot as I went to pick my sister up from a party. From that point on I haven’t been able to get rid of him.” *Do not try this at home*
Five years ago, Tyson then finally proposed to Amy on their fifth anniversary: “At just 21 and 22 we went away to the Sunshine Coast whenever we could. No different to any other weekend away we went down to the beach for some drinks and a beautiful sunset. Before I knew it he was kneeling down proposing, it couldn’t have been more perfect!”
The Big Day – Wedding Styling
When Amy and Tyson were planning their special day, the Brisbane couple wanted to create something unique and memorable: “A wedding that completely reflected us as people!” With lavender fields as far as the eye could see, Amy and Tyson’s images caught our attention right away. A unique combo of lilac nature and golden skies, created a wedding so beautiful, we could hardly take our eyes off it. Pink finishing touches added a unique twist to the couple’s wedding styling and created a fun atmosphere. Amy’s special day was made perfect by their friends, who had organised surprise fireworks: “…everyone and anyone knows just how special that was for me (I’m a complete sucker for fireworks and have always joked about the idea of having them at our wedding)”
The Wedding Dress
Aligned with the rest of Amy’s wedding concept, our White Lily bride chose a dress as unique as ever: ”I remember writing on my “wish list” in the white lily consultation was for a gown that was different and unlike no other. My gown is just that, a dress that I will always see as my own and so incredibly unique. From the “wings” as we liked to call them down to the sparkle in the veil, every detail was perfectly unique.” August by Zavana Couture is a true showstopper!
What made your White Lily Couture experience special for you?
“Well firstly, Lisa is a woman I won’t ever forget! She made our experience so easy! She was very flexible and really listened to what I was liking and not really liking with elements of gowns. In three gowns I had found the one, purely because of how she interpreted my wishes!”

They say the way to a woman’s heart is through her stomach, which is why it is no surprise that this week’s White Lily bride’s first date a Max Brenner was a winner. A few years later, Emma and Josh finally got to celebrate their love with 70 of the Brisbane couple’s nearest and dearest at their stunning Summergrove Estate dream wedding.
Tell us the deets – Who proposed and how?
We love a good proposal story and this one sure is one to remember. Our White Lily couple had just climbed a mountain top in Wanaka, New Zealand when Josh pulled out a handmade anime storybook of the two of them: “We sat down on top of the mountain and he read the book to me. The last page said will you marry me!” Romantic and crafty, we love it!
Elegant with a Pop of Peach
A venue so sleek and elegant doesn’t need much to impress, which is why Emma’s choice of decor was kept simple yet elegant. Peachy orchids with hints of blush seemed to be the perfect fit for Summergrove Estate’s stunningly beautiful and natural backdrop. Their chapel featured floral arbours framing the endless mountain views, accompanied by subtle and modern touches. The elegant theme was carried through to Emma and Josh’s reception, where white candles and thoughtful bits and bops created a warm and beautiful atmosphere.
Wedding Planning Advice from the Bride
“Try not to stress over the little things! People go to your wedding to see you get married and celebrate with you, they’re not looking at the small things.”
Memories to Cherish
Captured by the talented Kirk Willcox, Emma’s favourite memory was walking towards Josh, just moments before saying their ‘I dos’. “The moment they opened the doors for my dad and I to walk in, was the most memorable part! I could see my future husband smiling at me and our loved ones reactions! We shed a few tears during the ceremony.”
Complete the sentence: Being married means having a best friend to make life long memories together.
Stunned by its quality fabrics and unique design, Emma found her dream bridal gown in MIMI by Enzoani: “My favourite feature was the lace train, so beautiful! I also loved how the buttons lined by back and continued to the end of the train. The lace and crepe material was so unique and elegant. Perfect!! I went to Skilled Stitches and she did a perfect job with taking the hem up and altering the size.”
After saying yes to the dress, Emma walked away from White Lily as happy as ever: “The ladies at White Lily were so helpful. They picked out a few dresses for me, and I chose one as my wedding dress. I didn’t think I liked the crepe style, however, as soon as I tried it on I knew it was the one.” We were absolutely blown away when Emma’s images were sent our way; we couldn’t have been happier when seeing her shine on her special day.
As newly married couple, Emma and Josh are now excited to start their own family. “It’s so nice to just enjoy married life with no more planning!”

“We planned a wedding in 30 days and on the 29th day we went into lockdown.”
Anyone planning a wedding knows that 30 days to put together your special day is nearly impossible. Imagine doing so in the middle of a global pandemic. This week’s White Lily bride Eleanor and husband Jack went through all imaginable wedding planning craziness. However, dropping their guest list from 140 to 20 guests, the day before, couldn’t stop the Brisbane couple from celebrating their love for one another.
“Jack proposed in the same theatre he had first seen me perform in. Flashback to 2017: We just had our first date, a trip to the exhibition on Li Cunxin, [the ballet dancer] at the Brisbane Museum. I had a concert that night and in between our lunch and the performance he booked a ticket to surprise me… I think the date went well considering he also didn’t love ballet. Fast forward three years and the proposal was a complete surprise. He asked if I’d like to go out to lunch the night before and I was a bit annoyed at him because I wanted to invite this other couple to join us but he refused. We drove up to this restaurant parallel to the theatre and he said we should go in and have a look, you know “for old times’ sake”. I walked in and all of the chairs had been removed bar one… the one he sat in the first time he saw me perform. There were candles everywhere and the stage was set with a grand piano and a microphone. There was someone playing. As we sat in the chair, a friend walked out and started singing one of our favourite songs ‘So Will I’ by Ben Platt. He asked me to dance and then got down on one knee. It was magical.”
Wedding Theme & Style
With Covid restrictions in place, our Brisbane couple’s big day was all about love and intimacy: “The whole day was full of the people we loved the most…” Eleanor’s childhood backyard was turned into a magical place with subtle white flower petals and romantic candles and fairy lights, creating a truly intimate atmosphere. Best of all, everything was put together and prepared by Eleanor and Jack’s loved ones: “…my best friend did my hair and makeup, I put together my bouquet in 10mins with flowers bought from Woollies, we had it in my childhood homes backyard, Jack’s grandmother officiated the ceremony, our really close friend took our photos, our sister-in law was our videographer, my sister made the cake, Jacks best friend played the piano as I walked down the aisle.” That’s a dream team if we’ve ever seen one!
Atelier Pronovias Bridal Dreams
When Eleanor visited us with her mum and sister, she instantly fell in love with the classic yet dramatic details on our GALAXY gown by Atelier Pronovias. “We had the most glorious staff member help us and she listened to everything that I wanted and brought forward a large range of dresses, however, she was clearly amazing at her job because the dress I ended up choosing was the first dress I tried on in the store. “ Upon asking our White Lily bride what she loved most about her dress, she pointed out the high neckline and low back, which was everything she had been looking for in her dream bridal gown.
Looking strikingly beautiful in her wedding dress, Eleanor first stepped in front of her future husband Jack during their pre-ceremony reveal: “…that was the most exhilarating moment. It was so intimate and special to share that without the pressure of being in front of anyone else. So, when it came to walking down the aisle, I was having the best time and could really take it in. Would highly recommend this to any couple!”
Future As Mrs & Mr
After sharing the most beautiful and intimate day with their nearest and dearest, Eleanor and Jack are now more than excited to create their own family culture and traditions together: “We really want to be intentional about how we spend our days and what impact we want to have on the world around us. It’s pretty fun!”

A breathtaking county scenery, gorgeous dried flower arrangements, and a mission to unite two lovers, for life. This week’s White Lily bride Meagan’s wedding day was pure perfection.
It’s a Love Story, Baby Just Say Yes
Meagan and Kieran first met on a night out at the Royal Exchange Hotel in Toowong. As it turns out, the RE truly is a matchmaker – Kieran finally proposed to Meagan on a mountain top, whilst traveling Canada, in December 2019.
Wedding Planning & Styling
As the months went past and Covid slowly hit Australia, the Brisbane couple decided to move their wedding date from September to December.
“We were fortunate enough that we were in the country that all restrictions were lifted come November. But the day is about you and your partner whether you have 5 people or 100 the love between you and your partner will not change so go ahead with your original plans.”
When their wedding day finally arrived, things couldn’t have worked out more beautifully.
Meagan and Kieran created a rustic-themed day with soft tones and blush decor. The country backdrop offered the perfect balance of grand scenery mixed with an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.
Putting a large emphasis on securing the perfect images on her wedding day, our White Lily bride’s precious moments were captured by Shutter and Lace Photography: “I remember two weeks after being engaged I messaged liv from shutter and lace to see what dates she had available for 2020.” And they truly turned our magical!
The gorgeous low back and show-stopping train of INGRAM by Stella York made Meagan fall in love with her dream gown: “I felt like a princess in it… I loved the detailing on my dress and the style enhanced my figure.“
The White Lily Experience
“From the first time I stepped through the door it was professional, from choosing my the gowns I loved to trying them on it was an amazing experience. There was no pressure at all and the extra treatment of providing champagne just topped it off.”
From Bride to Bride
We get the best advice from those with experience, so here are Meagan’s words of wisdom to all future brides: “Plan your wedding exactly how you want it, embrace all the planning because the day goes so quickly.”
With Covid changes being an all-time risk, Meagan also stresses to remember that the day is about you and your partner: “…whether you have 5 people or 100 the love between you and your partner will not change…” Despite the challenges throughout her wedding planning journey, our White Lily bride Meagan is now as proud as ever to call Kieran her husband. The loved-up couple is now looking forward to sharing the same last name and spending the rest of their lives together.

Our White Lily bride of the week Brianna and now-husband Luke’s love story is as raw as their special day. Meeting at only 18, their friendship slowly but surely grew into a beautiful bond for life.
Wedding Styling And Decor
Colourful decor with a gorgeous mix of pastel and vibrant flower elements created a warm and intimate atmosphere on Brianna’s special day. After saying their vows, surrounded by luscious greenery and their nearest and dearest, their elopement continued with a beautiful barn set-up.
Just like their ceremony, Brianna and Luke’s reception was unique and intimate with one sole focus, love!
“Our wedding was just our immediate family who live interstate and we hadn’t seen in such a long time due to Covid. There was just so much love!”
When looking through their incredible wedding images, there is no way we would have guessed that the entire day was planned four days prior to the date only. After fully embracing their wedding planning journey as a couple, Brianna and Luke’s plans completely fell through. Upon having to postpone their big day from September 2020 to February 2021, the couple decided to cancel their wedding and go ahead with an elopement in December. It wasn’t until our bride’s mum pulled this gorgeous plan together, that the Queensland couple had any idea what their elopement day was going to look like:
“I had never been to Osteria’s wedding venue before and really had no idea what our wedding was going to look like. Walking through those doors and seeing the incredible wedding my mum organised and decorated for us, and my amazing husband tearing up down the end of the aisle was just such a magical moment.”
When Brianna and her mum walked into our boutique, they were on a mission. Our White Lily bride had been virtually eyeing-off her dream wedding dress INESSA by Stella York for a while, and finally came to our Red Hill boutique for a fitting: “The moment I tried it on I knew it was the one – the skirt is just incredible! I couldn’t stop twirling in it all day!“ And just like that, Brianna had found her dream gown.
Advice From The Bride
With many things going wrong leading to her wedding day, Brianna’s advice to future brides is to just go with the flow and to enjoy the process with all changes and challenges: “Embrace the fact that some things are going to be out of your control because it makes up a part of your story, and remember that it will be the perfect day in the end because you get to marry the love of your life and that’s what it’s really all about. “
Future As Mr. & Mrs
Being able to finally go through life as husband and wife, Brianna and Luke can’t wait to start their long and happy future together: “to start a family, buy a home, travel and experience all of life’s rollercoaster by each other’s side.”

Beautiful wedding decor and views that will take your breath away. This week’s White Lily bride had us gasping with her stunning wedding images.
Our bride of the week, Monique, met her other half when she attended the Roma Races, also known as ‘love’ races, in 2015. As soon as they laid eyes on one another, Monique and Brad couldn’t help but feel the spark. What started off as a long-distance relationship, soon turned into the most magical bond. After powering through their first year of spending far too much time apart, the Queensland couple finally decided to move in together.
After all these years together, Monique and Brad finally became husband and wife. Their wedding took place on their magical estate in Kingaroy. With an amazing backdrop and gorgeous views, the Queensland couple’s day was highlighted by soft and romantic tones. The pastel pink flowers and luscious greens created a warm, intimate, and unforgettable ambiance. The day was completed by the presence of Monique and Brad’s closest friends and family. “…Our day was magic and I could never have imagined it to be as perfect as it was. “
As Monique planned her wedding, she prioritised three things: The wedding dress, the flower arrangements, and a photographer that would be able to capture all of her precious wedding day moments. With her sister in law being the owner of Shutter + Lace, she got a talented photographer and supporting bridesmaids in one. She also got lucky with her hairstylist, who happened to be one of her bridesmaids as well. A real power bridal party!
When she began her bridal journey, Monique was looking for a wedding dress that stood out from the crowd. She tried on ORA by Enzoani and was fascinated by all the details. She also loved the stunning train, Enzoani is renowned for: “…the reaction from my bridesmaids when I walked out in ‘Ora’ was unforgettable and that was how I knew it was ‘the dress’.”
“The experience at White Lily was like no other. Rachel was so kind, she made me feel so comfortable and didn’t mind if we tried on every gown to find my dream dress. The beautiful boutique made the experience so special and I loved that there were so many different designers and styles to chose from.” Monique truly looked incredible and we can’t even begin to explain how happy we are to have made her bridal dreams come true.
As we all know, organising a wedding isn’t always a walk in the park. One of the questions we always ask our White Lily brides is how they managed to plan their wedding during Covid-19. Since a large chunk of Monique and Brad’s guests were in New South Wales, the Queensland couple had to reduce their guest list significantly. To get through these difficult times and to deal with the ever-changing restrictions, Monique advises to establish plans for different scenarios surrounding Covid: “…at least then if a situation arises it won’t be as stressful.”
Having dealt with some of the most stressful times, our White Lily bride of the week also advises to enjoy the experience and to make your wedding your own: “…everyone has their own style so as long as you love it that is all that matters.”
Saying ‘I do’ was only the start to all of the exciting things ahead, in Monique and Brad’s future. The newly-weds can’t wait to find a place to call home and spend the rest of their lives together.

Vimvipa and Paul said their vows in one of Queensland’s dreamiest wedding locations. Surrounded by beautiful nature and a gorgeous backdrop with incredible mountain views, the couple finally got married. After eleven long years of knowing each other, their wedding day was pure perfection.
Before we get into the details of Vimvipa and Paul’s wedding day, let’s talk about their journey over the past few years. Paul fell heads over heels in love with Vimvipa, from the moment he laid his eyes on her. After getting rejected first and spending loads of time together as friends, Paul eventually found his way into her heart and found the courage to ask her out again for the second time. Soon enough, Vimvipa realised that she was, indeed, completely in love with Paul. “They say that persistence beats resistance…”
And that’s only the beginning of the couple’s fairytale love story…Imagine you are on a family trip to Disneyland. The love of your life gets down on one knee and pops the question in one of the happiest places in the world: “I wanted to propose in front of the castle and make you my forever Queen.” How are you not supposed to be covered in goosebumps after hearing about Vimvipa and Paul’s engagement story?!
After the big proposal and knowing that they had a wedding to plan, Vimvipa wanted to make sure that they found a location that they both loved. After years worth of planning, the couple had to completely reorganise everything, only three months before the wedding. Due to Covid the couple’s original plans of having a destination wedding in Greece, Europe were sadly canceled. However, they managed to find the most breathtaking location in Queensland and got married during a beautifully romantic and scenic ceremony at Rosewood Estate. Vimvipa also emphasised the importance of having a good day coordinator and celebrant, who were able to share their love story and make the couple feel at ease, throughout the day. “Having our wedding coordinator was the best decision we made.”
Despite Vimvipa and Paul’s ‘last-minute’ changes, their wedding day turned out absolutely magical. Vimvipa remembers their son walking her down the aisle and finally hearing Paul’s vows, whilst being surrounded by beautiful views, music, as well as their nearest and dearest. Pure magic.
Upon asking Vimvipa what advice she has for future brides, she points out the importance of doing what makes YOU happy: “Create your own traditions.”
Just like the rest of her wedding day, Vimvipa wanted to make sure that her wedding dress was perfect. Sure enough, she walked into our Brisbane boutique after visiting two other bridal stores. As soon as she laid her eyes on ULYANA by Zavana Couture, she knew that she was going to find her dream wedding dress with us: “When I put on my wedding gown I just knew it was the one. Milly was so kind, she really took the time to listen to what I was looking for in a dress. She was so accommodating and made me feel so special.” Vimvipa loved how her dress came with a cape and that the lace, embroidery, and beading were so detailed. “I also purchased another cape and a blushing veil to allow for 3 different looks. I loved how my wedding gown fit perfectly with our venue Location with all of the stunning backdrops.”
Now that the Queensland couple is finally married, Vimvipa and Paul are looking forward to growing old together and hopefully travel, as soon as the world opens up again.

This week, we’re doubling the love with not one, but two White Lily Brides. Claire & Nikki went from colleagues to friends to partners for life. Their journey came to a short break when Nikki moved overseas. However, when she returned to Queensland, Claire couldn’t resist but ask Nikki to rejoin her firm. Sure enough, Nikki jumped at the opportunity to reconnect paths with Claire. Although the Brisbane couple were best friends initially, their friendship soon blossomed into romance. Some of the best relationships start off as friendships, right?
When Nikki and Claire planned their wedding day, the Brisbane brides wanted to make sure that they spent their special day with good music, delicious food, and beautiful photos. Most importantly, Nikki and Claire wanted to be surrounded by their friends and family, when saying their vows.
However, when Covid hit Australia, the couple had to change their plans from celebrating on a Queensland private property to a wedding venue with Covid Safe Plan, which lead to more than one complication. They even considered having a small ceremony with only ten people but kept insisting on having all of their loved ones by their side. In the end, it all worked out: “…so we found a place that worked for us at the last moment. Nola at Entangled Events made the whole process easy and helped us to create our perfect day. It turned out better than we could have ever imagined.”
Since Claire and Nikki both came to our Brisbane bridal boutique to find their dream wedding dress, we had the honour of experiencing both of their ‘Yes to the Dress’ moments: “Having Lisa as the consultant for both of us was special. Lisa was very calm and made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. Everyone at White Lily was so lovely and it was a beautiful place to spend our time choosing our dresses. “
Upon asking the brides what they loved most about their gowns Claire describes the beautiful flower details underneath the top layer of tulle. She also loved the comfort of JOEY by Stella York and how confident it made her feel.
Now that the Brisbane couple has been able to gain a bunch of wedding planning experience, they left a few words of wisdom to future brides: “Don’t get caught up in spending time and money on the little details that people won’t remember. Focus on what will make it a fun and memorable day for you and your guests. And enjoy the planning because it will be over so quickly. “
For brides who are struggling with their planning process, Nikki and Claire even left some actionable advice: ”Make a list of your top items/happenings that you want at your wedding.” If you get too overwhelmed and don’t know where to continue, simply come back to the list and see whether your decisions align with your priorities. Easy done!
Post-wedding, Nikki and Claire are more excited than ever to grow their family and memories together. The beautiful couple is also dedicated to continuing to support each other in their endeavours.

Who, When, Where
Located in one of Queensland’s hidden gems, we put together a styled shoot with some of the most talented vendors, within the wedding industry. The fairytale-like charm at the heritage-listed Gabbinbar Homestead in Toowoomba added to the princess vibes of the shoot and created a unique atmosphere. Looking back on this beautiful March day, we were able to put together something so special, it’s hard to know where to even begin.
Our couture wedding dresses were captured in the most beautiful way by Lauren Olivia Photography. Lauren is an amazing photographer, who just knows how to translate precious moments into the most gorgeous photographs. The lighting and colours on this day were absolutely magical, which resulted in breathtaking imagery. Out of this world would be an understatement.
We also got the chance to work with Wander and Follow Images. Joel created a film, which we will cherish and obsess over forever. You HAVE TO check it out!
When selecting the gowns, we wanted to add a modern twist to the old-world style of this bridal shoot. Working with traditional fabrications like tulle and lace allowed us to incorporate modern designs. LARISA by Pronovias combines a princess-like tulle skirt with modern ruffles. The sheerness of the semi-illusion tulle on ROSSANA also added a modern touch, whilst complementing the classic theme of the day.
What we loved most about this shoot? Something about the style of this shoot felt like it stepped straight out of a Disney film or a classic novel. The kind of wedding you would look back on and still be head-over-heels in love with every choice you made.
Styled with burnished silver, crystal glassware, and spring garden-style florals, this old-world styling felt incredibly romantic and fully realised – allowing the day to center around its true meaning – a celebration of love. Can’t you just picture yourself driving off into the sunset in a classic cream Bentley alongside the tuxedo-clad man of your wildest dreams? We truly can’t stop thinking about this day and would love to do it over, and over, and over again.

It’s been a long time coming. After eleven sweet years of dating, Hayley and Brandon finally got to say “I do” during their intimate ceremony at Hillstone St Lucia. Despite Covid, the gorgeous couple was able to share their special moment with all of their closest friends and family, creating a magical atmosphere and unforgettable day.
Hayley and Brandon met through Brandon’s brother, in 2009. From the moment she laid eyes on him, she couldn’t help herself but immediately fall head over heels for Brandon. Eleven years later, they finally got to tie the knot.
As the couple was planning their special day, Hayley put a big emphasis on finding the right venue with great food and drinks. The couple truly wanted to create moments, their guests will love and cherish forever. “We are all about friends and as much as everyone says this is your day, we had a hard time revolving it around us as we wanted our guests to really enjoy all the elements to our day.” And they sure delivered!
When we asked Hayley what the most memorable part of her wedding day was, she said that the ceremony was incredibly intimate and special. Every single one of their 140 guests was laughing and crying with them throughout, which made Hayley and Brandon’s ceremony unforgettable. Going through difficult times made the couple realise how valuable it is to have close friends that support you and stand by your side no matter what. Their ceremony was everything they could have hoped for.
When Hayley walked into our Brisbane boutique, she was looking for a dress that stood out and was different from the gowns she had seen on other brides. She instantly fell in love with PASIPHAE by Pronovias.“It was the very first dress I had ever seen and I knew it was going to be the one. It was classy but sexy and different to anything I had seen any other brides wear before.“
When asking her what made her experience at White Lily Couture special to her, she said that the staff was not only extremely helpful but also made her feel truly special. “…although they see brides every single day, the way you are treated you are made to feel as you are the first bride they had ever dealt with and that I think would be so hard to do.” Hayley ended up looking absolutely stunning in her dress and we couldn’t be happier to see her glow on her special day.
Hayley’s advice to other couples, who are preparing for their wedding, is to trust in their vendors and their expertise. The couple went in without having any expectations and real plans, yet managed to pull off the most amazing wedding day “…we have hired them for their talents and expertise and their eye for detail so we personally think what made our wedding as visually beautiful as it was, came down to us trusting our vendors and letting them create the magic for us.”
Upon asking how Covid affected the couple’s plans and whether she had any suggestions for other brides planning in these tricky times, Hayley said to not worry about the small things and to just focus on the bigger picture “Getting married during these crazy times made us realise that the small things that maybe once would have set you off or mattered no longer do. All that matters is you get married in front of the people you love most standing next to the person you love.”
Although there were no dancing elements to the couple’s reception, their MC created the most fun and entertaining show, which kept all of their guests highly entertained. “I think it is so important to have an epic MC to work the crowd to make their time in the seats just as good as if they were up dancing. “ Despite Covid, it truly was a fun and magical day for the newly married couple and all of their friends and family.
Hayley and Brandon are now more excited than ever to start a family in their own house together and to book their next overseas holiday, once the world opens up again. How exciting!

Clare and Jordan’s wedding exuded a sense of relaxed sophistication and unique flavour of fun. The couple’s vibrant bohemian Byron wedding featured bold colours and personal touches unlike any other.
White Lily bride, Clare had her eye on the venue for years. Fig Tree Byron Bay set the scene for Clare & Jordan’s big day, Clare explaining “I had seen Fig Tree Restaurant on Instagram years ago and known that it was where I wanted to get married.
The couple gave the iconic space their own personal flair with an abundant array of bold pink and orange florals encircling them at the end of the aisle. They continued these bold and beautiful blooms into their bridal bouquets, as well as a delicate selection of blossoms adoring Clare’s hair.
The abundance of floral details paired perfectly with Clare’s bohemian beauty-style wedding dress. “As soon as I put it on I knew that it was the one.” She said of her Ashley gown from Noosa designer, Erin Clare. “Erin was so amazing to work with and she brought my dream dress and veil to life!”
“I thought I wanted a plain dress with a big tulle skirt. I ended up choosing a sequinned, tight-fitting dress!” The gorgeous gown features luxe white sequins, fine straps and side split.
The couple celebrated their love in a stunning outdoor ceremony with friends and family.
“We wanted a simple, relaxed, fun ceremony. We didn’t have any readings but our celebrant Michelle did an amazing job of telling our love story to our family and friends. We wrote our vows as we wanted to make realistic promises to each other that related to our relationship and what we want from our marriage. We were able to hug and whisper to each other throughout the ceremony and this made us feel loved, happy and comfortable. Our ceremony was a highlight of our day.”
Following a lovely sit-down dinner with their guests, Clare and Jordan headed out underneath the stars to continue their celebrations.
The first dance? Utterly romantic says Clare. “Our first dance was outside, underneath a grapevine and fairy lights, surrounded by our family and friends. We wanted a classic song that wouldn’t go out of style – we chose ‘Stand By Me’ by Ben E King.”
