Darcy and Lizzie’s joyous wedding day celebrations were nothing short of magic! The sun sat high to shine down on this beautiful couple as they tied the knot in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at Cowbell Creek.
The wedding party stepped outside to the venue’s covered ceremony location with an outlook onto the rolling green hills. Darcy waited nervously alongside his groomsmen at the end of the aisle – each wearing short sleeves, shorts and bow ties and matching shoes (super cute!).
Lizzie strode down the aisle in Darcy by Pronovias (sample not available in store) – a glamorous off-the-shoulder gown featuring a structured lace bodice and luxe crepe skirt. Our beautiful bride finished off her bridal look with a half-up hairstyle and two-tier ribbon-edged veil. Lizzie fell in love with the detail and versatility of her gown,

No amount of weather was going to rain on Tess & Jayden’s parade for their special day! Their rainy day nuptials were hosted at Osteria Casuarina in Northern New South Wales. The couple infused a vibrant mix of colour, native greenery and elegance to create their once in a lifetime celebration.
Tess looked sensational in her Lexi gown from US designer, Enzoani (Sample no longer available in store), as she made her way toward her soon-to-be husband in their luxe combi van. Her bridesmaids, equally stunning in simple, midi length gowns. We love how Tess mirrored her silhouette with her bridesmaids’ ivory spaghetti strap gowns.

The tale behind Candice and Troy’s love story is one that makes their wedding day even more awesome. Not a classic romance, but a genuine love story we’re sure you can all relate to in some way!
As one of White Lily’s own, Candice can afford to be a little more candid than your typical newlywed. We’re sure you all know the struggle of spying a certified hottie, only to discover they’re already with someone. Well this was the case for our Candice until news spread the man of her dreams was newly single.
“I was looking for a formal partner and I asked my sister if she knew any good looking engineers who would take me to grad. She said there was this one good looking guy, but he had a girlfriend. About a week later I laid eyes on Troy for the first time at the shops – he was with his girlfriend. I turned to my sister and told her that I would marry that man one day. “
True story folks! Candice goes on to tell us how their relationship blossomed over the coming months.
“Three months later, Troy met me for the first time at a games night at my sister’s house. He tells me that he remembers thinking, “God help the man who ends up with that girl.” (I guess I’m a little competitive).
He then started coming to my church and became quite close to my sister and her husband (this was ultimately my in). For the next year, I told every person I knew that I was going to marry this sexy-as engineer – even though we had never had a proper conversation!
At the end of 2016 I went on a group New Years camping trip, however I don’t have a 4WD, so my sister wing-woman-ed me a seat in Troy’s car for the trip. And as they say the rest is history!”
Can we have a round of applause for all of our wing-women out there who have helped us along the line?!
Despite their wildly relatable meet cute story, the pair had a tough start over the first six months, with Troy travelling over 600kms to regularly see her. Was it worth it? Absolutely! Candice says, “He is the absolute man of my dreams. He definitely changed my love of the city to a love of all things country.”
The couple finally decided to say ‘I do’ in a gorgeous boho/country-infused wedding held at Rockhampton’s own Heritage Village.
Candice looked beautiful in her boho chic Scout gown from Australian label, Emmy Mae Bridal, with her bridesmaids mirroring her relaxed A-line silhouette in soft blue. She finished the look with statement silver drop earrings and a modern updo to showcase the high illusion boat-neck of her feminine gown. Although being surrounded by choice at White Lily Couture herself, Candice immediately fell in love with her dream dress and its utterly unique charm.
“I just loved her beautiful soft tulle skirt and the spots – I’m beyond obsessed with the spots.”

Melissa & Matthew’s fairytale forest wedding was a truly magical day held at Osteria Casuarina in Northern New South Wales. With a rich colour palette of deep reds and burgundies paired with luxurious greens, the setting was nothing short of dreamy.
With a first look set amongst a forest backdrop, Matthew turned around to see Melissa looking like a princess in her Milly gown by Mori Lee. This amazing dress features voluminous cascading ruffles and a deep-V neckline. When asked about her gown, Melissa was glowing:
“How do I just pick one thing that I loved about my gown? For the longest time I always thought I wanted something slinky and sexy, but when I first saw the images of Milly online, I fell in love straight away. When I went to try it on in store it fit like a glove and I knew it was the right dress for me. I had tried on so many dresses before that, but found that a lot were too lacy or sparkly for my taste. I loved that Milly had so much drama in the skirt (especially when I added a hoop), but was still rather simple it it’s overall design, and adored that it was backless. There is also something so timeless about a beautiful ball gown. I felt like an absolute princess on the day.”
Melissa topped off her gorgeous bridal look with a classic updo and one tier veil. The simplicity of the gown’s fabric allowed Melissa’s bold bouquet to make a statement – picking up colours from the natural flora of their ceremony location.
The reception was the epitome of wedding day glamour with luxurious hanging floral installations and lashing of gold and red across each table.
The loved-up newlyweds headed straight to New Zealand for their honeymoon with an added getaway to Japan following a little later in the year.
