Kristy & Adam’s South African Vineyard wedding was beyond breathtaking. The theme of the day was ‘rustic elegance and my goodness did they deliver!
Kristy had always wanted to have a vineyard wedding, however, didn’t want the occasion to become too formal. She found the perfect venue to fit the bill at Vrede en Lust with its jaw-dropping mountainous backdrop and rows of ripening trees. The wedding party readied themselves inside the ornate Manor House built in 1688, while the reception was held inside a terrace with a marquee tent roof. The glass-windowed reception venue provided a glorious view of the surrounding scenery.
Kristy’s impeccable taste was evident in the beautifully styled elements throughout the wedding dotted with old-world charm. The rustic vibe came through via long wooden tables, wine barrels and exposed bulbs. This was contrasted with a classic colour palette of navy, blush pink and rose gold which was featured throughout everything from the invitations to the cutlery. A key highlight however, were the abundant florals consisting of reds, pinks and a spray of greenery designed by N Concepts and Designs.
Our gorgeous bride Kristy wore Tibet by Pronovias – a beautiful mermaid gown with an illusion boat neckline and decadent guipure lace motifs. Her gown was absolutely perfect for the setting, giving the entire occasion an almost regal feel.
When asked about her gown, Kristy said that “It had everything I didn’t even know I wanted in a dress. I loved the champagne underlayer that really made the lace motifs stand out, the illusion neckline, and the shape that the dress gave me!”
After their teary ‘I do’s”, the happy couple headed to the reception to celebrate with all fo ther family and friends. As for the honeymoon, the pair are expected to jet off on a delayed getaway to Hawaii at the end of the year!
We wish this beautiful couple all the best for their future together!

Crystal wed her beloved James at the lush botanic gardens of Rockhampton in an urban chic wedding ceremony. Enveloped in rich greenery, Crystal looked simply amazing in her Sasha gown from Made with Love Bridal.
The ceremony was small and intimate, with just a handful of guests including the couple’s close friends and family. This was a highlight of the day for Crystal – along with “getting to wear that dress!!” She gushed. The entire ceremony was a secret to all those except the ceremony attendees – a total of 18 people.
“My bridesmaids didn’t even tell their partners, one of them Theresa said we were going to Brisbane to try on wedding dresses on that Friday,” Crystal explained.
The couple were married on the Friday and then held their ‘engagement party’ on the Saturday.
“Little did they know, we already got married!”
The couple had the ceremony filmed by Jyhe at Maddog Productions, who managed to have the video ready by Saturday morning to show to guests at the party not long into the night.
“People were really surprised,” says Crystal, “It really set the vibe for the rest of the night.”
Crystal’s secret ceremony was given the finishing touch with her gorgeous Sasha gown from Made with Love Bridal. This luxurious, yet boho gown features sensational crocheted lace over a tan coloured underlay fabric. The eye-catching lace design, stretch fabric and sheer neckline were the perfect combination for Crystal and James’ effortlessly stylish wedding.
Crystal adored her gown and the fact that it was a truly different style. “It was just what I was looking for – a modern vintage style! I don’t really like the traditional style dress, and I loved loved loved the train!”
Our beautiful bride knew as soon as she tried the superb Sasha on, that she was the one. “I didn’t like it when I first saw it on the hanger,” Says Crystal, “But when I put it on I just knew this was the dress I wanted.”
Crystal accessorised exquisitely with an intricate vine headpiece and a raw-edged veil pinned low – a masterclass in chic wedding style!
With a series of serendipitous and superb selections as well as a keen sense of style, Crystal and James’ wedding day could not have been more perfect. Above all else, Crystal named her favourite part of the day as “Marrying my best friend.” Could it get any cuter than that? We think not.

Laura’s Irish wedding was nothing short of amazing. Held at the Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa of County Cork, with the ceremony at a local church, the day could not have been more perfect!
Laura opted for the Skyler gown by Augusta Jones – a timeless classic, which married perfectly with both venues. This gown features divine scalloped lace around the neckline, as well as a shimmering beaded lace through the fitted bodice into the soft flare of the skirt. Our beaming bride also opted for a single-tier veil pinned underneath her loosely swept up-do.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds headed to the beach for photos and then hit the dance floor at their reception.
Laura describes her dress with great joy, “What I loved most about my gown – it’s scalloped lace and detailed back gave it a timeless elegance from every angle.”
